Imagine my joy when the Executive Director where I worked honored my request for a new job title:   Cheryl Russell—Chief Morale Officer.

In the book, 1001 Ways to Reward Employees by Bob Nelson, he talks about what employees value in recognition.  My “new nameplate” felt just as good as getting a raise in pay.  Being recognized for this idea motivated me to take on the role of cheerleader for many activities designed to increase morale and teamwork among employees.  This is just one of many professional experiences that I draw upon to work with businesses and corporations as a consultant.  Just think, your company can have a Chief Morale Officer too!

As a manager, supervisor or CEO, ask yourself the following questions:

  • How do you motivate your employees?
  • Are you focused on and building team spirit?
  • How can you increase productivity and well-being?

With a CMO consultant, services include:

  • Employee recognition programs
  • Topical newsletter articles
  • Coordinating a THANKYOUOLOGIST campaign.

Contracts can be arranged for hourly work, monthly retainers and presentations.

What others have to say…

“Cheryl has a natural and professional gift about acknowledging others.  She recognized the importance of saying thank you to our Community Partners, donors and volunteers with mission-focused ideas expressed through creative marketing and appreciation gifts. As a visionary thinker, she saw the potential of converting three, non-revenue program events into a major fundraising opportunity with an awards concept that accomplished three successful outcomes–$90K net new revenue in its first year, substantial increase in visibility of community volunteer acknowledgment, and expanded agency recognition as the premiere human relations organization in Orange County.”
