Hello there!

When people come to my home, they learn very quickly that everything in it has a unique story. Just like this website, everything in my own home expresses a heartfelt feeling of gratitude and appreciation for all that I have been privileged to experience. Early on I had the desire to make the most of everything. With the art of saying thank you, that is how I have lived.

A native of  Southern California, trips to the beach and camping are my favorite childhood memories. What I treasure most about my education and bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona University is the hands-on approach to my marketing studies. Back then, folks thought I was majoring in grocery stores!

Gratefully, I have been able to market my way into some fascinating careers—a communications specialist, sales associate for Xerox, ABC-TV affiliate news director, solo traveler around the world, travel consultant, elementary school teacher, non-profit development director and author. Each of these pursuits has contributed to my profound love for a thank you consciousness.

Now, as a thank you coach, I am grateful for the personal and professional experiences that I draw upon in my writing, speaking and coaching about the art of saying thank you. More than 25 years of keynotes speaking, workshop presentations, and radio and television appearances, have given me a wealth of resources that I love to share.

In addition to THANKYOUOLOGY, other published books include The Story of the StarHearts and two supplemental books for teachers.That’s just a glimpse into my life as I have experienced it. Known for many favorite sayings, the most appropriate for this short bio is, “stay tuned!”
